The organizer of this conference is Trade Analysis and Development Agency (TREDA) of the Ministry of Trade. It is the unit that is responsible to the Minister for trade analysis and developing trade policies. The agency conducts research in various area of domestic and international trade which are used as resources for formulating and developing policies at the Ministry of Trade.
In order to support this duties, TREDA publishes the journal of scientific publication namely Buletin Ilmiah Litbang Perdagangan (BILP). BILP is a medium to disseminate
knowledge and research in the field of trade. The journal is published twice a year in July and December and nationally accredited by Indonesian Institute of Science (LIPI).
The International Conference of Trade is held in a collaboration between BPPP and Australia Indonesia Partnership for Economic Development (Prospera) since 2017.
Prospera is a collaboration between the Government of Indonesia and the Australian Government that supports Indonesia to develop the economic governance.
Call for Paper
Interested parties are invited to submit a maximum of five pages of paper. Paper received will be selected to be published in international reputable proceedings (indexed by Thomson Reuters) and BPPP scientific journals, Buletin Ilmiah Litbang Perdagangan (BILP) (nationally accredited).
The International Conference will be opened by the Minister of Trade and followed by Key Speeches of the academics and practitioners. Theme and topic of the key speaker’ presentations are “The Changing Global Trade Environment: Responses and Strategies”. This session will end with a panel discussion by three speakers who will discuss three subthemes.
